Wendy Williams is sharing an update on her health in a very rare interview. On Friday morning (March 14), the 60-year-old former talk show host called into The View where she provided an update on how she’s doing after she was taken from her assisted living facility to a New York hospital for an evaluation during a welfare check earlier this week. Morrissey. “It was great at first,” Wendy recalled, before noting that her guardians were waiting for her when she got back to the facility where she has been living. “I’m not permitted to do anything, but stay on this floor, memory unit,” Wendy said, before questioning, “Why am I here?” Wendy went on to say that her guardians and the case judge need to “get off my neck,” adding, “These two people don’t look like me, they don’t talk like me, they don’t act like me, and venture to say, they will never be me…I need a new guardian.” After noting that she is currently “alcohol-free,” Wendy said that her end goal is get out of her guardianship. “I don’t want Sabrina, period,” Wendy declared. “But I also don’t want a guardian.
I want to get out of guardian[ship]. It’s been over three years.
