Jonas Brothers singer Kevin Jonas has revealed his skin cancer diagnosis, urging fans to check their moles as he posted videos before and after surgery.The 36-year-old pop star shared video to Instagram where he showed fans a mole on his hairline and explained it was cancerous, updating again after having surgery to remove it.

Dad-of-two Kevin is known for performing with his brothers Joe and Nick as part of the family pop trio, and used his platform to give a health warning to his nearly five million followers.

As he videoed himself going in for surgery to remove the mole from his hairline, Kevin wrote in the caption: "Friendly reminder to get your moles checked." The video from before the procedure saw Kevin lifting up his hair to show a small skin blemish while lying on a hospital bed as he explained: "Today I am getting a basal-cell carcinoma removed from my head. "Yes, that is an actual little skin cancer guy that has started to grow, and now I have to get surgery to remove it.

So here we go." Later in the video he was shown after the operation with a surgical dressing on his forehead and said: "Alright, I’m all done.
