Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho is set to volunteer to help grow food and deliver it to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where it will be given to those in need in the local area during the coronavirus outbreak.
The state-of-the-art £1bn stadium is being used for a number of means despite football being suspended across the country. Antenatal and maternity services are being provided there so that pregnant women can avoid putting themselves at risk and hospital-based staff are able to focus on tackling the virus.
And the stadium is also being used as a food distribution hub where meals are given out to those most in need, with produce being grown at Spurs' training centre.
