LeAnn Rimes has candidly opened up about her health in a new social media post, revealing she underwent "minor surgery" following an abnormal smear test.

The American singer and actress, 41, took to Instagram on Saturday, 13 January to speak about the beginning of 2024 and what she's been through over recent months in regard to her health.

LeAnne said January is "usually a challenging month" for her due to other health issues, such as dental surgeries, but this year the month has been "joyful and easeful", despite her minor surgery, which took place the day prior to her lengthy post.

The star began: "january is usually a challenging month for me. over the past couple of years, i’ve either been going through dental surgeries or recovering from a vocal hemorrhage around this time, which was all pretty depressing.
