King Charles has arrived back at Buckingham Palace after travelling from Sandringham in Norfolk by helicopter to continue with his treatment for cancer.

The monarch was pictured being driven with Queen Camilla in the capital to continue with his treatment. While the type of cancer the King has has not been revealed, it was confirmed not to be prostate cancer and was discovered during initial corrective surgery for an enlarged prostate. The King's return comes days after a statement was issued to the public, thanking them for the support since his diagnosis was made public - and expressing his gratitude that sharing the news has prompted others to get themselves checked.

King Charles, who was pictured attending church in Norfolk on Sunday, 11 February, wrote: "As all those who have been affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement." While there were worries for the King, both Queen Camilla and Prince William have spoken out about how he is facing up to the news.

During an appearance at Salisbury Cathedral, the Queen gave an update on her husband, telling those gathered: “He’s very touched by all the letters and the messages the public have been sending from everywhere—that’s very cheering.” The Prince of Wales also broke his silence on the Royal Family's recent health worries which have also included the Princess of Wales undergoing abdominal surgery.
