A 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man are still in hospital after a double stabbing in Manchester. The man and the teenage boy were seriously injured following the incident near Rushford Street and Purcell Street in the Longsight area yesterday evening (February 4).
Both men were found with stab injuries at the scene and they remain in hospital this morning. The Manchester Evening News understands that their condition is not life-threatening.
However, one of them may require surgery. Greater Manchester Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made as of this morning (February 5) but a major investigation to trace the suspects has been launched.
It comes after witnesses reported seeing a 'fight' in the street before the knife attack. Pictures from the scene showed multiple police vehicles and ambulances at the scene following the incident.
