Loose Women star Coleen Nolan was comforted by her co-stars as she shared her personal struggle with insomnia on the popular ITV daytime show.
During Monday's episode, Ruth Langsford, Coleen Nolan, Jane Moore and Olivia Attwood-Dack were joined by viewers and a live studio audience to discuss the issue of insomnia.
According to the NHS website, insomnia is a sleep disorder that can make it difficult for individuals to fall asleep, stay asleep, or get enough quality sleep. "It can cause daytime issues like fatigue, irritability, and difficulty concentrating." Coleen, 59, took this opportunity to share her own experience with the disorder, confessing that she 'can't remember' the last time she had a good night's sleep.
Ruth initiated the conversation by asking: "Did you get enough sleep last night? Apparently over 30% of the population will be answering no to that question due to suffering from insomnia and it turns out women are twice as likely to suffer from it and unfortunately Coleen is part of that statistic.", reports the Mirror.
