Mel Schilling has shared a health update with fans after being diagnosed with colon cancer in December.The Married At First Sight UK star opened up about her chemotherapy sessions in a new interview.
Mel, 52, who had a tumour removed three months ago, appeared on Heart Breakfast on Monday, 18 March. She chatted to hosts Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden about her health and also teased the upcoming series of MAFS UK - which is currently being filmed.
When asked by Jamie and Amanda how she's doing, Mel said: "I'm doing well." She went on to explain more about her cancer treatment to the pair. "So this is currently a week off in my chemo cycles, which is why I've got quite a lot of energy today.
I'm doing well.Thank you," she added. Mel said the treatment hadn't been making her sick, but just "a little tired". Mel said: "I've learned there is a lot of different types of chemo...
