The cabinet member, who has himself recovered after being diagnosed with Covid-19, delivered the government's daily briefing from Downing Street today.

In the same press conference, Jennie Harries, Deputy Chief Medical Officer for England, warned against "lifting the lid" on the UK's lockdown too early - which could lead to a "second spike".
