Max George has told his fans he will "100 per cent have to undergo surgery" after his terrifying hospital dash this week due to heart issues.

Earlier this week, the singer told fans he was taken to hospital, and told he had some issues with his heart.The star also revealed he may be spending Christmas in hospital.

As he keeps fans updated on his condition, the 36-year-old issued a major update via his Instagram stories on Saturday night.Talking to the camera, Max revealed that he has a problem with the "lower part of his heart" and is suffering with a "really low heart rate". "So latest is that 100 per cent I'm going to have a little friend put in here at some point," the star said, as he pointed to his heart.
