Officials: Driver sought in connection with early morning fatal hit-and-run in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. - Delaware State Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Wilmington.During a preliminary investigation officials said a person was driving an unknown vehicle, possibly a gray or silver Honda, east on Augustine Cut Off near Rock Manor Avenue, early Sunday morning, just after 3:15. The driver ran off the right side of the road and hit a sign, then drove back on the street, still heading east.The car then hit a 79-year-old Wilmington man walking along Augustine Cut Off, near Edgewood Road, according to authorities.

Police: Driver sought after University City hit-and-run that killed a 70-year-old man

UNIVERSITY CITY - Police are investigating a crash that killed a 70-year-old man after he was struck by a car. According to police, the crash occurred on March 8, just before 8 p.m., at the intersection of Civic Center Boulevard and University Avenue. Authorities say a silver or gray SUV hit a 70-year-old man. The driver of the vehicle got out of his car and saw the 70-year-old on the ground before he got back into his car and left the area going south on University Avenue, officials say. Police: 6 shots fired on West Philadelphia street critically hit man
