The Prime Minister will hold meetings with senior ministers and experts in Downing Street today before updating the Commons on Tuesday.But any changes in social distancing announced by Johnson will only apply in England.

The Scottish Government is already reviewing its own scientific advice on the issue but has not offered any date on when changes may take place.A majority of pubs in Scotland have warned they would have to remain closed if they are forced to keep customers two.
