Noah Lyles is sadly bowing out of the 2024 Paris Olympics. On Thursday (August 8), the 27-year-old Team USA athlete competed in the 200-meter race, just two days after testing positive for COVID-19.

He ended up winning bronze, but had to be taken off the track in a wheelchair. Hours later, Noah announced that his Olympics journey was over as he continued to battle COVID. Keep reading to find out more…“First I want to thank God for getting me through this entire Olympics!” Noah wrote on Instagram. “Second I want to congratulate @tebogo_letsile_, @kenny_bednarek and everyone else on an amazing Olympic 200m final.

While Ed Balls was back hosting the ITV breakfast show, Susanna had been replaced by Ranvir Singh, who explained her co-star's absence. She said: "If you're wondering where Susanna is, one of her boys has been taken ill overnight and she needed to stay with him, so we are here for you this morning."
