Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has had his plans scrapped by the coronavirus crisis that has gripped the nation. The Norwegian had initially planned for his Manchester United stars to go through a military-style boot camp to preserve their fitness ahead of the end of the season.

The former Cardiff manager has made his player’s conditioning a top priority and it has helped them to an 11-match unbeaten streak.

However, as the coronavirus continues to rock the country the Premier League took the measure to suspend the competition. Initially, the league had been postponed until April 3 but that seems an optimistic date given recent events.
