In a tell-all interview with People published on Wednesday, the X-Men: Apocalypse actress vulnerably opened up about her breast cancer diagnosis, and how physically, mentally, and emotionally taxing her journey to health has been… Contents [hide] 1 How It All Started 2 Tough Choices 3 The Aftermath 4 Early Menopause How It All Started Olivia explained how after welcoming her son Malcolm with John Mulaney in 2021, she got more serious about staying on top of her health.

Like any mother, she wants to “be here as long” as she can for the little guy — so she kicked off her health assessments with a mammogram.

And in a scary twist, she was cleared. She then tested negative for the BRCA cancer gene, so she thought she had a clean bill of health!

But sadly, some breast cancers can go undetected in mammograms. Thankfully her doc was being especially cautious and recommended the Tyrer-Cuzick risk assessment test, which determines a patient’s risk for cancer based on personal factors. Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson placed in conservatorship following dementia diagnosis
place the musician under a conservatorship in February after the Beach Boys co-founder was diagnosed with dementia, Fox News Digital confirmed. The diagnosis, coupled with the recent passing of Brian’s wife, Melinda Wilson, led his family and doctors to make the decision.“I find from clear and convincing evidence that a conservatorship of the person is necessary,” Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gus T. May said at the brief hearing. The judge said that evidence shows that Wilson consents to the arrangement and lacks the capacity to make health care decisions. His longtime representatives, Jean Sievers and manager LeeAnn Hard, were appointed as his conservators. In February, when his family initially sought the conservatorship, they released a statement to Fox News Digital, saying, “Following the passing of Brian’s beloved wife Melinda, after careful consideration and consultation among Brian, his seven children, Gloria Ramos and Brian’s doctors (and consistent with family processes put in place by Brian and Melinda), we are confirming that longtime Wilson family representatives LeeAnn Hard and Jean Sievers will serve as Brian’s co-conservators of the person.”Before her death, Melinda provided Brian with his “daily living needs,” involving “physical health, food, clothing, or shelter,” according to a court document obtained by Fox News Digital. In his advance health care directive, Melinda was named as his agent for healthcare — but there was not a successor put in place before her death.

Prince Harry ‘hit hard’ by Kate Middleton cancer battle as she and William are ‘going through hell’
touched down in London to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.Later that day, Harry’s reps confirmed to The Post that he will not be meeting up with his estranged father this week due to King Charles’ “full” schedule. What’s more, the rest of the royals have made no plans to see him during his brief visit to London, which includes the Prince and Princess of Wales.“Harry would love to reconnect with Kate,” Christopher Andersen, who penned “The King: The Life of Charles III,” told Fox News.“They were once extremely close, and Harry was hit hard by the news of her cancer diagnosis, which he learned about just the way the rest of us did, via Kate’s shocking video.”“Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear [Prince] William is willing to let his brother anywhere near his ailing wife,” he added.Andersen said there has been “too much drama” between the two camps that has caused “lingering bitterness on everyone’s part.”“The chances of even a meeting between Harry and the rest of the royal family, much less some sort of reconciliation, seem extremely slim,” he added. In a further blow to the exiled royal, Harry was reportedly forced to check into a hotel room after not being offered a bed at any royal residences peppered across the country. He also won’t be seeing King Charles while in the UK.
