Kylie Jenner breaks down in tears as mum Kris reveals serious new health battle
Kylie Jenner has emotionally broken down in a new trailer for the upcoming fifth series of The Kardashians, as she poignantly revealed her mum Kris’ worrying health scare.
In a harrowing new clip released to promote the show, Kris, 68 gathered her children together to break the news that during a recent scan, doctors had found a small tumour. “I had my scan - they found a cyst and a little tumour,” explains Kris in the tense scene, before the trailer immediately cuts to 26 year old Kylie, the star’s youngest daughter, as she broke down in tears before being consoled by older sister Kendall, 28.Tugging Kylie into a tight embrace, Kendall comforted her younger sister as she sobbed uncontrollably, with the rest of the trailer failing to give anything else away about Kris’ health status.
From the trailer, it’s currently unclear where exactly the cyst and tumour are located, but during the brief clip of Kris informing her family, the Kardashian matriarch notably gestures to the left side of her abdomen, hinting at the possibility that it could be one of the organs there.
Although the word ‘tumour’ will no doubt spark alarm, the trailer also doesn’t elaborate further as to whether the tumour is cancerous or benign, nor what - if any - treatment Kris will need to undergo in order to treat the condition.The reason behind the initial scan is also currently a mystery, as the star hadn’t revealed whether it was a routine discovery or found as part of a bigger investigation to address any symptoms she may have been experiencing.
