A pensioner has died at a Lidl store in Aberdeenshire.Emergency services raced to the shop on Windmill Road in Peterhead after the alarm was raised at around 3.50pm on Wednesday.
Ambulance crews attended but a 76-year-old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.A picture taken from the scene showed a number of police vehicles and medics attending the incident.
The shop was closed for the remainder of the day while emergency crews dealt with the incident. Officers say there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances relating to the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At 3.50pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 we received a report of the death of a 76-year-old man in a premises in Windmill Road, Peterhead.
