Brits may finally be able to get their lockdown locks cut with hairdressers set to get the green light to re-open on July 4.

Boris Johnson is due to announce that hair salons and barbers will be allowed to resume business in just under a fortnight, according to the Sun.

Although Downing Street says a formal decision has not yet been taken, the PM is reportedly expected to allow hairdressers to return to work if the two-metre rule is relaxed next week.

It means that along with pubs, restaurants, and cafes, the nation's 33,000 hair stylists and beauticians will be able to re-open their doors in the first week of July.
