Rylan Clark has opened up about his recent illness and the humorous plan he has up his sleeve for some extended time off. The BBC Radio 2 presenter was replaced by Richie Anderson on his Saturday afternoon show last weekend due to having the "sniffles".
His co-star said on air at the time: "The reason I'm in is because Rylan's got the sniffles, apparently. However, our listeners disagree because he's been spotted a lot out and about this week." Hilariously hitting back at the claims, Rylan branded them "lies" and went on thank his fans for their well wishes.
Seemingly now recovered from his illness two days later, the 36-year-old returned to the airwaves as part of a special EastEnders segment for Scott Mills' BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.
Introducing Rylan to listeners, Scott began: "You were a bit poorly on Saturday, Richie was saying you had the sniffles. "I know the early mornings are not for you, and I know you haven't been well but, I actually think you're going to have the best morning ever." Rylan said in response: "True and do you know what?
