Sarah, Duchess of York, is urging everyone not to skip their health checks for cancer, saying "days could make the difference between life and death".
The 64-year-old royal, who bravely battled breast cancer last year, took to Instagram during Cancer Prevention Action Week to share her message.
She revealed that her recent diagnosis of malignant melanoma came as a shock, but she was grateful for the support from her family, especially her sister who encouraged her not to delay her routine mammogram.
Sarah discovered she had skin cancer - the same diagnosis as her late father Major Ronald Ferguson - less than a year after facing breast cancer.
