Dominic Raab said "we mustn't give the coronavirus a second chance to kill more people and to hurt our country" as he lead today's government press conference.
The Foreign Secretary, who is filling in for the Prime Minister while he receives treated for coronavirus, reiterated the government's stay at home message as the Easter Bank Holiday looms.
His latest comments come as talk turns to whether the UK's current lockdown will be lifted. When Boris Johnson announced the measures last month, he said they'd be reviewed in three weeks which is in the next few days.
However, Mr Raab said today that "we're not done yet" before adding that data is still being gathered on the impact of social-distancing.
