Former Strictly Come Dancing star Iwan Thomas has shared pictures of his five year old son Teddy in hospital following surgery, as he proudly praised the youngster.The 51 year old Olympic sprinter shared snaps of his eldest child recovering in hospital after having surgery for a broken arm.

Despite the ordeal, Teddy was seen smiling while his arm was wrapped in a sling. Iwan, who showed off his dance moves on the BBC show in 2015, praised his son's incredible resilience. "We couldn't be prouder of Teddy," he penned. "He's already faced so many challenges in his young life, and now this - yet he never complains.

He just carries on, showing nothing but kindness and love to those around him. "Children have an extraordinary ability to bounce back, and their strength humbles me every single day.Teddy, you inspire me to be a better person.Thank you for all the lovely messages of support", reports the Mirror.

After Iwan's heartfelt post, fans and followers alike sent their well wishes to his little boy. "You got a proper tough little soldier on your hands there my brother wishing him a speedy recovery," one wrote.

Chris Stark, the popular host of Capital FM Breakfast and BBC Radio 1, has revealed he's been diagnosed with testicular cancer.The radio star took to social media to share his diagnosis, which came about after a routine visit to his GP.The 38 year old presenter has also been undergoing chemotherapy treatment and operations to prevent the disease from returning. Chris shared on Instagram: "Around a couple of months ago, after a routine trip to my local doctors, I found out I have Testicular Cancer. I had surgery pretty quickly and have been off the radio/ podcasts the last couple of weeks having chemotherapy to best prevent anything from coming back.
