One of the people arrested after a stabbing near two primary schools in Trafford remains in hospital under guard this morning.
The shocking incident happened on Hawk Road in Irlam yesterday afternoon around 2:30pm. It happened just as parents at the nearby Moss Valley and St Joseph the Worker schools were picking up their kids for the day.
Police raced to the scene with a large cordon being put in place. Shortly afterwards, three teenagers, one aged 14 and two aged 17, as well as a 37-year-old man, were arrested.
Two were taken into custody whilst two were taken to hospital for treatment to injuries.
