Teddi Mellencamp's sister issues update on star after 'horrific' brain tumour surgery
The family of Teddi Mellencamp, a 43 year old former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, shared an emotional update after she underwent emergency surgery to remove two brain tumours.
In an emotional update, her sister Justice posted a black and white photo of herself sitting by Teddi's bedside after the surgery, captioning it: "Watching a loved one suffer is horrific,' she wrote. 'I've tried to get back to everyone who has reached out and I know Teddi will share her journey when she is ready.
She is by far the strongest person I know. "So many emotions as I travel home today but her village is the best one I've ever seen and I'm so grateful for them (prayer hands emoji).
Your prayers are everything.Thank you." Meanwhile, Teddi's estranged husband Edwin Arroyave shared his own statement on social media, expressing gratitude for the support on behalf of the star. "Our family is thankful to everybody for your continued prayers and well wishes," he said. "Teddi is beyond grateful for the outpouring of love while she continues to recover." He also shared a selfie with their daughters, Isabella and Slate, as they prepared to visit Teddi in the hospital, reports the Mirror.
