With 22 more people testing positive for coronavirus in the state, Maharashtra's tally reached 203 on Sunday, the State Health Department said.

Of these 22 cases, ten are from Mumbai, five from Pune, three from Nagpur, two from Ahmednagar and one each from Sangli, Buldhana and Jalgaon.

35 patients have recovered and been discharged so far. A 45-year old man with no known history of foreign travel has died in Maharashtra's Buldhana due to suspected Covid-19 complications, raising the state's death toll to eight, officials said here on Sunday. "The patient, who suffered from diabetes, was admitted to a private hospital late on Thursday and then shifted to the district civil hospital on Saturday morning.
