A Covid-19 testing centre in Dublin has been closed due to reduced demand according to the HSE. The National Show Centre near Swords was used for testing from 21 March to 30 March.
A spokesperson for HSE said that changes were made to the testing system to target high-risk groups and those exposed to the coronavirus.
The spokesperson said this reduced the need for testing "as the total number of people requiring testing reduces, there will be a change in the number of locations required to offer testing." The centre was closed down on Tuesday 31 March as there is sufficient capacity in Croke Park.
