As part of the UK coronavirus lockdown, the British people have been told to stay home. Brits are told to only leave their homes for a strict number of reasons, including to exercise once a day.
Because it’s coming up to summer, and we are spending more time indoors than usual, many could be lacking vitamin D. As part of its coronavirus guidance, the NHS has recommended people to “consider taking 10 micrograms of vitamin D each day if you’re indoors most of the day”.
Vitamin D is an extremely important vitamin that effects the function of your entire body. Not getting enough can cause vitamin D deficiency, which can lead to muscle weakness, fatigue and even mental health problems.
