Britain has not yet reached the Covid-19 peak that would allow for an easing of tight restrictions of movement, Health Secretary Matt Hancock has said.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast, he said that 19 NHS workers have died from the virus. "My heart goes out to their families, these are people who have put themselves on the frontline," he said. "The work is going on to establish whether they caught coronavirus in the line of duty while at work or whether, like so many other people, caught it in the rest of their lives.
