Apprentice finalist Rochelle Anthony has revealed she was rushed to hospital in "intense pain" after weeks of hell and now requires surgery. The salon owner and mum of two took to Instagram on Thursday night to share her agony with her 75,000 followers. The businesswoman, who battled it out in The Apprentice final last year as she tried her best to rescue her salon and ensure a £250,000 investment from Lord Alan Sugar, told fans she has two gallstones stuck in her bile duct which are too big to pass naturally. The health concern comes a year after she had her gallbladder removed as well as 19 gallstones.
She wrote: "This last 10 days have really ramped up! Multiple blood tests, scans and A&E trip later." The Story continued: "I have these two gallstones stuck in my bile duct.
Most of you know I had 19 gallstones last year and my actual gallbladder removed. But these in this location are 11mm so too big to pass naturally and too tricky a place to operate on without a specialist. "I've been sent home with HEAVY pain meds, that's left me sleeping all day/being sick and feeling dizzy!
But it's better than the intense pain I've had for the past 6 days." She continued: "Trust your gut and fight for answers! Hopefully I will get the much needed operation asap. Thanks to clients who have moved appointments and my dolls at work for holding the fort for me!" In another post uploaded to her Instagram Story, Rochelle confessed she'd rather "give birth" than experience the pain she's currently in.
