At least one arrest has been made in connection with the death of beloved Friends actor Matthew Perry. The 54-year-old star passed away in October of 2023, and his cause of death was later confirmed to be from “acute effects of ketamine.” If you are unaware, ketamine is a drug that is used to treat depression.
It can also be used recreationally. Keep reading to find out more… TMZ is reporting that multiple arrests were made on Thursday (August 15) after an investigation was launched by the LAPD and DEA.
The site reports that at least one doctor was among those arrested. Apparently, several drug dealers who “helped arrange and deliver ketamine to Perry” were also among those arrested.
NBC News is noting that one individual was arrested. Stay tuned as we learn more. Texts from Matthew were reportedly part of the investigation, which included messages about pricing and how he’d get the ketamine.
