BBC coronavirus show in chaos as programme suffers huge gaffe seeing host scramble

The Coronavirus Daily Update: BBC News Special returned on BBC One today, but things didn't exactly go according to plan. Newsreader Reeta Chakrabarti had lined up a call with the chairman of the Local Government Association, following the new coronavirus guidelines being established by Health Secretary Matt Hancock.

The programme was set to switch to the call with chairman Cllr James Jamieson, however, it appeared there was a problem with the phone-in, seeing Reeta have to quickly improvise.
