The Queen is being "kept informed" of Boris Johnson's battle with coronavirus as the PM was shifted to intensive care last night.
A palace spokesman has confirmed the Queen is being updated on the Prime Minister's health condition, reports Mirror Online.
Buckingham Palace said: “Her Majesty has been kept informed by No10.” Johnson was shifted to intensive care after his condition "worsened." The news comes a day after the monarch spoke to the British public in a special broadcast about the coronavirus crisis.
During the speech from Windsor Castle, the Queen spoke about her admiration for the NHS's front-line workers and praised the country's "national spirit".
