The UK could see some cafes and restaurants starting to re-open in July - but there's bad news for pubs. Boris Johnson addressed the nation in a statement this evening and said he hoped to re-open at least some of the hospitality industry and other public places - if they are safe and enforce social distancing.

He said this would be subject to conditions and more scientific advice and only if numbers back it up. The PM said in his speech this evening: "...And step three - at the earliest by July - and subject to all these conditions and further scientific advice; if and only if the numbers support it, we will hope to re-open at least some of the hospitality industry and other public places, provided they are safe and enforce social
