Hairdressers and barbers won't be able to reopen until July at the 'very earliest', Dominic Raab said today. Personal care businesses were ordered to shut down after Boris Johnson imposed a nationwide lockdown on March 23.
The restrictions also applied to mobile hairdressing services. Today (Monday), the Foreign Secretary told Sky News hairdressers would have to wait until July 4 at the earliest to be reconsidered for reopening as he discussed the government's plan for easing the coronavirus lockdown.
Mr Raab has been attempting to clarify the messages given in Boris Johnson's address to the nation last night, which has been criticised by many for being confusing.
