Lupita Nyong’o has reportedly joined the cast for Christopher Nolan‘s next movie.The as-yet-untitled film is expected to be released in July 2026, with Matt Damon currently in talks to star in the lead role alongside Tom Holland, Zendaya and Anne Hathaway.
Damon portrayed General Leslie Groves in Nolan’s most recent film, Oppenheimer, alongside Cillian Murphy.Oppenheimer was the biggest winner at the Oscars and the BAFTAs this year.
It also became Nolan’s biggest Box Office hit overseas with the film garnering over $960million (£757million) worldwide.Plot details for Nolan’s new project remain under wraps but it was rumoured to be a period horror about vampires in the 1920s.But according to The Hollywood Reporter, insiders maintain that no rumours as to what the film is about have come close to what Nolan’s real idea is.He is returning to Universal for the movie after turning down the chance to return to Warner Bros.
