The government has announced that there will be a UK-wide day of reflection next year to remember those who died during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Five years on from the start of the pandemic, communities across the country are being invited to come together on March 9 2025 to remember loved ones who died and reflect on the impact of the coronavirus pandemic in Britain.
The COVID-19 Day of Reflection is one of the ten recommendations set out by the UK Commission on Covid Commemoration. To mark the fifth anniversary of the pandemic, people across the UK are invited to come together to remember and reflect on the unusual period in the country's history.
