Coronation Street actor Liam McCheyne has revealed he recently had a two day stint in hospital.The star, who plays Dylan Wilson on the IT shared a health update with fans on Sunday (18 August).The Corrie star, 17, didn’t disclose his reason for being in the Manchester hospital, but sent a kind message out to the staff who helped him.

On social media, Liam wrote: "Morning shout out to our amazing NHS. Especially all those at the Royal Oldham who took superb care of me over the past two days.

Liam concluded: "What a mess we would be in without them." Dylan returned to the ITV soap whilst his brother ditched acting for a sporting career. Dylan Wilson is the son of Sean Tully, played by Antony Cotton - whom Liam is very close with.
