Good Morning Britain's resident medical expert Dr Hilary Jones has been offering top notch guidance to viewers in regards to the coronavirus, with him sharing advice on face masks on Wednesday.
The GP has previously warned that the general public do not need to wear masks when out in public, as they could cause more harm than good.
However on Wednesday's episode, he appeared to change his stance and confirmed that face masks could provide some help when protecting from spreading Covid-19.
The 66-year-old told viewers: "If you cough or you sneeze, whether you're symptomatic or not, you're likely to expel large droplets of liquid which may contain the virus. "So anything that covers your nose and mouth can trap some of that, but not all of
