Good Morning Britain's Dr Hilary Jones revealed the chances of children transmitting Covid-19 after it was announced schools could open in June.
The resident doctor, 66, has been updated viewers on everything coronavirus during the current lockdown. Today he discussed the likelihood of children spreading the deadly virus as anxiety around schools returning next month was sparked.
The medical expert told parents the chances of children transmitting the virus to other is "less". He told hosts Ben Shephard and Ranvir Singh: "What we do know is that children are transmitting the virus less than others. "The evidence is pretty strong around the world that children are not only more resilient to the virus but they transmit it to others less
