A man has been left with life-threatening injuries in hospital after an attack in Rochdale. Emergency crews rushed to the scene of the incident on Delamere Road at around 2pm yesterday (Monday, July 16).
Police said officers responded to 'reports of an assault'. The street was cordoned off as police arrived on the scene, as well as a number of other neighbouring roads including Birkdale Road.

The 20-year-old's injuries are thought to be life-threatening. Another man - aged 22 - has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
