A woman has shared the key signs of cancer that she initially overlooked, urging others to "listen to their bodies". Brooke Jordyn was tragically diagnosed with stage two Hodgkin lymphoma just a week before her 20th birthday.

Speaking to her followers on TikTok, Brooke detailed how she began experiencing symptoms such as fatigue, weight loss and night sweats over a year ago.

However, it wasn't until she mentioned a lump under her armpit to her sister in December last year that she decided to get it checked out.Despite this, her doctor initially believed it could be a cyst.

Brooke said: "So I noticed the lump under my armpit around August time and I kind of just didn't really do anything about it.""I told my sister about it and she urged me to go get it checked out.
