This happens to me regularly, and it’s not that I don’t have feelings or emotions about what’s happened to the person. I feel deeply sorry for them.

But I sometimes freeze and don’t know what to say or do. When it comes to mental health issues, this can be even harder to broach.

And I say that with a severe amount of irony because I have mental health issues myself. I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in 2017.
