Full list of Scottish recycling centres due to open in June

Fly-tipping levels soared across Scotland during the lockdown with mountains of rubbish dumped by litter louts. The closure of council-run recycling centres resulted in beauty spots becoming an unsuspecting victim of Covid-19 as Scots found illegal ways to get rid of their waste.

But the Scottish Government last week announced that dumps could begin reopening on June 1, much to the relief of frustrated householders.

Visitors are warned to expect delays due to social distancing and will be asked to bring ID and proof of their address when using the facilities.Here is a list of all centres that are due to reopen however some are operating a limited service on or with reduced hours.Airdrie Waste Disposal and Recycling CentreBellshill Waste
