Gary Neville’s wife Emma has opened up about her "awful" health battle which made her "cry all the time". Speaking on Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place podcast, the 41-year-old explained how she first started experiencing symptoms at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Following on from her experiences, counsellor and accredited menopause coach Emma has decided to try and raise awareness of early menopause in women and highlight how it can happen at any time.

Speaking to Fearne, 43, she said: “It was actually in 2019 when I was coming to the end of my course, I had to do 100 client hours and then the terrible lockdown…came along and ruined that experience because I went to online learning.

I just felt like my concentration was going. “I was just crying at anything and I was probably not nice to be around at times.
