A German man who deliberately received 217 Covid-19 vaccinations suffered no ill side effects, according to researchers. The 62-year-old, from Magdeburg, was given the 217 doses within a 29-month period.
He received a total of eight different types of vaccine including Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, AstraZeneca and the Pfizer-produced Comirnaty.
Research in the Lancet Infectious Diseases bulletin details the case of the "hypervaccinated individual". It says that evidence for 130 vaccinations over a nine-month period was collected by the public prosecutor in Magdeburg.
An investigation was opened into the allegation of fraud, but criminal charges were never filed. Researchers contacted the man via the public prosecutor with a view to researching the "immunological consequences of hypervaccination".
