UK Civil Service's Twitter account goes rogue calling Government 'truth twisters'

The UK Civil Service's Twitter account branded the Government "truth twisters" after Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he stood by Dominic Cummings during today's press briefing.

Shortly after the conference came to an end, the account tweeted: "Arrogant and offensive. "Can you imagine having to work with these truth twisters?" The post was liked more than 32,000 times and retweeted by 22,000 accounts before it was taken down.

It remained online for 11 minutes. But, thousands managed to screenshot the tweet and started to share and commented about it multiple times on the platform.
