Hairdressers meet with government today to discuss salon reopening plans

The BABTAC ( British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology) and the British Beauty Council are working together to help therapists get back to work safely.

Britain has sorely missed its beauticians and hairdressers since lockdown began. The trend for disastrous lockdown haircuts has proven how necessary our stylists are to feeling good.

After rumours swirled over when hair salons and beauty parlours would be expected to re-open, BABTAC are in discussions with the government.

Last month, experts suggested that salons may be able to re-open by mid-May. However, others suggested they would remain closed for up-to six months.
