Tottenham attacker Heung-min Son has returned to his native South Korea to undergo military service during the coronavirus crisis.

All able-bodied men are required to serve the Asian country, which is technically still at war with the North, for two years.

Son will complete his mandatory service while the Premier League remains suspended indefinitely during the coronavirus pandemic.

His stint will begin on April 20 at a Marine Corps unit on the island of Jeju, according to the country's local media. Son will be exposed to tear gas, undertake live-fire drills and 30km marches during three weeks of training.
