Prime Minister Boris Johnson is in 'good spirits' and is breathing 'without any assistance' in intensive care as he fights his own personal battle with coronavirus.
The update on his condition was delivered by Dominic Raab, who is deputising for the Prime Minister while he receives medical treatment in hospital.
He made the announcement at the daily coronavirus press conference on Tuesday. The Prime Minister was admitted to St Thomas' Hospital in the capital on Monday evening due to his persistent symptoms.
