Denise Welch has opened up about her latest health nightmare on Loose Women, revealing that she finally has her life back after an "absolutely miserable" ordeal. The Waterloo Road actress returned to Loose Women this morning after facing another health setback with her vertigo - a condition which leaves sufferers feeling dizzy and disorientated.

Denise, 65, has battled the condition for the past 15 years, revealing that it feels like she's "falling off the edge of something" and impacts her particularly when she's going to sleep. "My normal vertigo would be like if I'm walking around, normally 90 percent of the time, I'll be okay," she said on Loose Women today. "But when I lie down at night, I go 1, 2, 3, 4, spin and it's like a rollercoaster.

It's like when you used to get drunk, but without the fun getting there. "That's what it is. And then if I'd wake up in the night to go to the loo, I'd have to sit on the edge of the bed and hold the bed and it's absolutely miserable." Denise opened up about recent treatment that she underwent to try to help her debilitating condition.

She admitted that it was "absolutely miserable" although luckily she had her husband Lincoln Townley by her side. "[The specialist] laid me down on the bed and he said, I'm going to put you backwards to the left, which he did.

Celebrity-loved diet linked to higher risk of heart disease death: study
celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Heidi Klum and Jennifer Lopez has been shockingly connected to a severely increased risk of cardiovascular death, via a newly published study.Users of the so-called 16:8 diet — in which one eats only during an eight-hour window and fasts for the other 16 hours in a day — are at an increased 91% risk of dying from heart disease compared to those who eat over 12- or 16-hour periods, South West News Service reports.“Our findings encourage a more cautious, personalized approach to dietary recommendations, ensuring they are aligned with an individual’s health status and the latest scientific evidence,” senior author Dr. Victor Wenze Zhong said in a statement.“We were surprised to find in our study that people who followed an eight-hour, time-restricted eating schedule were more likely to die from cardiovascular disease,” added Zhong, a professor and chair of the department of epidemiology and biostatistics at China’s Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Those with a cardiovascular illness who ate in a window of time lasting between eight and 10 hours a day have a 66% higher risk of dying from heart disease or stroke, according to the data.Researchers analyzed the eating habits of more than 20,000 US adults — with an average age of 49 — over a median period of eight years. The research was presented Monday at the American Heart Association’s Epidemiology and Prevention│Lifestyle and Cardiometabolic Scientific Sessions 2024 in Chicago.

King Charles could break this Trooping the Colour tradition amid cancer battle
told the Daily Mail.An official plan will be put into place closer to the time. The Post has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment.Trooping the Colour is a batch of ceremonial events that mark and celebrate the birthday of King Charles III — even though the monarch’s actual birthday is in November. With senior members of the Firm pulling back from the royal fold one at a time over a myriad of health issues, the royal family has faced a difficult start to the year.Charles has taken a noticeable step back from official duties in recent weeks, which has subsequently caused some confusion over upcoming royal engagements. The Ministry of Defense took down a web page appearing to confirm Charles’s attendance at Trooping the Colour. The same goes for Kate Middleton, whose name was quietly removed by the British Army’s website from the list of attendees for the Colonel’s Review after it was speculated that the event would be one of her first appearances since her abdominal surgery.Prior to the removal of her name, it was reported that the Princess of Wales, 42, would have been examining the Foot soldiers as the honorary Colonel of the Irish Guards at the pre-Trooping the Colour event.Following the inspection, the members will line the processional route along the Mall in London.Middleton has been in attendance for all of the events since she married Prince William, 41, in 2011.Since undergoing a “successful” abdominal surgery on Jan.
